JOB DESCRIPTION

This position requires an individual who will apply their knowledge of our client products and peripheral devices to support pre-sales validation and post-sales implementation activities at a highly technical level. These activities include product/application testing and development to find the right hardware and/or software solution, as well as troubleshooting complex support cases. The candidate will be required to perform a wide variety of tasks to help achieve the continuous business growth of the company. Such tasks include product training, creation of support resources as well as technical marketing material.

The candidate must possess strong communication skills, including active listening. Excellent prioritization and customer service abilities are key elements to succeed in this position.

Note: The role requires bilingual proficiency in English & French.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (e.g., Automotive, Mechanical/Electrical Engineer) and/or 1+ year of experience in industrial automation or quality control preferred. Candidates with business-related or technical degrees along with relevant Product Support experience will also be considered.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) is a MUST for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support on our product offerings for our sales team and customers. Support shall be provided remotely or on-site as required.
  • Log all customer and support interactions in a CRM and resolve cases promptly.
  • Conduct testing on customer samples to determine suitable solutions based on application requirements and report findings.
  • Coordinate with our HQ in Japan for research and preparation of new product releases.
  • Create training materials and conduct training on products, applications, and competitive information for sales staff.
  • Provide product demonstrations to customers at company premises, trade shows, or on-site as needed.
  • Provide feedback on product and service improvements to enhance customer experience.
  • Learn and become proficient with our client sensor and/or camera products.
  • Follow company and department policies and procedures.
  • Maintain inventory and track demonstration equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  • Perform other duties or projects as assigned.
