The Opportunity:

Under Sunwing Vacations, we are seeking a Product Specialist to ensure Hotel Contracts, Rate Revisions, Destination Transfers, and Excursions are processed accurately and timely. Responsibilities include communicating updates internally and updating web pages according to deadlines. The role reports to the Director, Product Support, based in Toronto, ON.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist the Director and Buyers with contract management and implementation
• Ensure accuracy of contracts and manage changes
• Review rates and update promotional rates
• Input and manage contracts within our system, handling all hotel correspondence
• Complete and follow up on hotel contracts and details
• Maintain all hotel contracts and correspondence in our internal drive
• Handle various contractual details including promo rooms, marketing, group promotions, and payment terms
• Review and negotiate reductions and promotions
• Participate in weekly meetings to review sales, strategies, and reports
• Analyze relevant reports and monitor risk production and empty seats
• Assist with trade show planning and reports
• Coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers
• Manage internal support and supplier relationships
• Assist with bumping negotiations and compensation
• Update hotel content on Sunwing.ca

What You’ll Need:

• High School diploma
• 1-3 years of relevant experience
• Post-secondary education in Travel and Tourism or related field
• Travel and Tourism Certificate, TICO Regulations
• Proficiency in Office technology (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
• Attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Understanding of company policies and organizational structure
• Willingness to travel as needed
