A leading company in the aviation industry is seeking a SAFe Product Owner to join their team. The role involves transforming business needs into actionable User Stories, ensuring efficient implementation, and collaborating closely with multiple teams. Candidates should have a strong background in aviation and experience as a Product Owner, along with exceptional leadership and analytical skills.
Main responsibilities of the Product Owner are described in the SAFe framework at https://www.scaledagileframework.com/product-owner/. More specifically, in NAVBLUE, the Product Owner is a key asset in transforming business and operational needs, collected with Product Management and the Software Factory, into User Stories. The PO works closely with the development team to ensure these User Stories are properly implemented according to the Definition of Done. The candidate will lead by example in deploying Lean-Agile principles, breaking silos, and aligning development with the overall Portfolio framework vision. They will also work to bridge the gap between recommended practices and daily business objectives, ensuring successful NAVBLUE processes. As NAVBLUE values efficiency, flexibility, and a focus on value, the PO will collaborate closely with the development team to enhance performance and effectively transition between functional and technical domains. This position supports multiple teams requiring a Product Owner.
