About the Role

The Product Owner drives product development from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with customer needs, market demands, and business objectives. This role bridges business strategy, technology execution, and market needs to deliver competitive, revenue-generating products. Responsibilities include leading Agile development, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, managing product lifecycle, ensuring security and compliance, and optimizing key integrations. The role also plays a pivotal part in revenue growth through go-to-market strategies and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Strategy & Roadmap Management

• Develop and maintain a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with company goals and client needs.
• Conduct market research on industry trends, benchmarks, and emerging technologies.
• Prioritize initiatives based on business value, feedback, and feasibility.
• Define and track success metrics using tools like Pendo, NPS, and churn analysis.

Agile & Scrum Leadership

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and ensure sprint deliverables meet standards.
• Refine Agile processes to improve efficiency and team performance.
• Monitor sprint velocity and delivery timelines to resolve bottlenecks.

Product Development & Lifecycle Management

• Manage full product lifecycle including upgrades, security, compliance, and new features.
• Oversee development of integrations with registration software, APIs, GDS, and other platforms.
• Ensure releases support revenue strategy and market positioning.

Client & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Engage with clients for insights and product adoption.
• Serve as main contact for high-value clients regarding product roadmaps.
• Collaborate with sales and support teams on communication and training.

Security, Compliance & Risk Management

• Identify and mitigate security and compliance risks.
• Work with Security Officer to review and improve security posture.
• Integrate security requirements into development processes.

Partnerships & Integrations

• Manage relationships with key partners and optimize API integrations.
• Benchmark against competitors to maintain a competitive edge.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and manage the software development team.
• Oversee KPIs, monitor activity, and identify improvements.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance management.
• Hire, onboard, and manage new team members.
