Job description

As a Product Owner, you will play a key role in capturing, planning, and prioritizing requirements to ensure alignment between business unit needs and our delivery teams. You will understand the needs of business units and develop an integration strategy that meets these needs while respecting the company's orientations, positions, and compliance. You will critically analyze and evaluate new processes and their integration into our financial systems. You will collaborate on defining and prioritizing project activities and translate the vision into specific objectives to achieve projects within the required budget and timelines.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, structure, and prioritize business requirements to ensure consistency between business expectations and the delivered solutions.
  • Design an integration approach tailored to the specific needs of the business units.
  • Critically assess new processes and their integration into financial systems to confirm their relevance.
  • Take an active role in selecting and prioritizing project activities.
  • Break down the overall vision into actionable goals to deliver projects within the approved budget and timeline.
  • Continuously manage the product backlog and write clear user stories to guide the team.
  • Act as a bridge between the project team and stakeholders to facilitate communication throughout the project.
  • Oversee the delivery schedule and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Analyze the challenges linked to scope changes and suggest solutions to mitigate their impact on users.
  • Adjust integration processes to remain aligned with project updates.
  • Support team members in clarifying their business requirements.
  • Provide operational assistance to business units during the rollout of new processes.
  • Work with the business architect to define execution and testing strategies.
  • Serve as a mentor and technical reference for the project team.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrates a customer-oriented mindset, sharp analytical skills, sound judgment, and ease working within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Brings at least 7 years of experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a product owner position.
  • Familiarity with SAFe methodology and continuous improvement practices is considered an advantage.
  • Proficient with IT tools and well-versed in the Windows environment.
  • Recognized for leadership, the ability to engage a team, and independence.
  • Offers excellent communication abilities, active listening, organizational awareness, autonomy, and strong project management capabilities.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools and Oracle ERP Cloud is seen as a plus.
  • Background in the banking sector is considered a strong asset.
