Job summary

Otodata is seeking a Product Owner – System Integration to drive the backlog for enterprise integrations such as Salesforce and MuleSoft, plus ERP/CRM/API connections. You will craft user stories and ensure alignment with the enterprise architecture.

You will work with stakeholders and development teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria, guiding the roadmap toward scalable, long‑term solutions and effective integration governance.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience in a technical/analytical field is preferred.
• 3+ years in a Product Owner or Business Analyst role focusing on software or enterprise system integration.
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365) and integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato).
• Knowledge of API management, event-driven architecture, and data mapping.
• Experience with Jira and Atlassian tools is highly desirable.

Job description

Reporting to the Product Manager, the Product Owner – System Integration is responsible for defining, maintaining, and prioritizing backlogs related to enterprise system integrations, particularly Salesforce and MuleSoft, as well as ERP, CRM, and API integrations. The Product Owner defines user stories and ensures that technical developments are aligned with the enterprise architecture. This role is responsible for establishing and prioritizing the list of features, customizations, enhancements, and fixes to be developed.

The Product Owner works closely with stakeholders, customers, and development teams to gather requirements and ensure that backlog items are clearly defined and aligned with project objectives and organizational needs.

RESPONSABILITIES

• Collaborate closely with Otodata’s Product Management team to define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Otodata’s integration systems.
• Act as the voice of the customer, whether internal or external, in decisions related to integration systems.
• Gather, analyze, prioritize, and oversee customization and enhancement requests, primarily within Salesforce and MuleSoft, in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Own and prioritize the integration product backlog, ensuring that user stories have clear acceptance criteria.
• Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, internal and external partners, and development teams.
• Work closely with software architects and developers to ensure the scalability and long-term sustainability of solutions.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Monitor integration performance and proactively identify gaps and risks within the integration ecosystem.

Education / Experience / Certifications

• University degree or equivalent experience; a background in a technical or analytical field is considered an asset.
• 3+ years of experience in a Product Owner or Business Analyst role, with a focus on software or enterprise system integration.
• Strong understanding of enterprise systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365) and integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato).
• Knowledge of API management, event-driven architecture, and data mapping.
• Experience with the Atlassian suite (e.g., Jira) is highly desirable.
• Experience with IoT products or solutions is highly desirable.

Knowledge

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience using data to support assumptions and develop business cases.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Bilingualism (French and English), both written and spoken, is required due to regular interactions with teams and stakeholders located outside of Quebec.
