Job summary

Payworks, a Canadian leader in workforce management solutions, is hiring a Product Marketing Specialist in Winnipeg. You will translate technical product updates into clear, buyer-centric messaging and craft launch communications with the Product Marketing Manager.

The role focuses on writing, with collaboration across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Client Experience. You’ll develop client content, web and email copy, webinars, and knowledge resources, while maintaining consistent positioning

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• 2–4 years of experience in marketing communications, content creation, product marketing, or related B2B role.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to produce polished, strategic copy that translates complex product information into clear messaging.
• Strong strategic communication instincts and ability to adapt tone and framing across channels.
• Ability to move between formats: product narratives, client communications, web content, sales collateral, Help Centre articles, and email.
• Highly organized with a systems mindset and ability to maintain documentation and content systems.

Responsibilities

• Craft product & launch communications — translate technical specs into buyer-centric messaging.
• Support expansion & client content — write messaging for existing clients and create guides, articles, and webinar copy.
• Maintain messaging systems — update positioning documents, value propositions, personas, and messaging frameworks across channels.
• Enable the field — assist with webinar programming, slide decks, demos, and one-pagers reflecting current positioning.
• Use AI tools to accelerate first drafts, refine messaging, and build reusable templates that scale content production.
