About the role:

eBay is seeking a talented and dynamic product marketer to drive inbound product marketing and outbound go-to-market strategies for seller experiences. This is a unique opportunity to become an integral part of the eBay marketing team, working with the Seller Experience product and commercial teams. The role involves collaborating cross-functionally with product, design, research, marketing, communications, customer service, and sales/market teams.

To succeed, you should be an experienced Product Marketer with expertise in developing value propositions, positioning, and driving adoption of tools and resources. Experience in co-creating go-to-market and marketing plans with external partners is also valuable. Context in e-commerce and small business is a plus.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop the product value proposition narrative and go-to-market strategy for Seller Experiences, ensuring the success of sellers on eBay’s platform.
  • Influence product roadmaps by synthesizing market, customer, and competitive insights, building audience segmentations, and opportunity sizing.
  • Build customer feedback loops during product and marketing development to refine narratives and value propositions.
  • Create product value propositions, narratives, customer messaging, naming, and external proof points.
  • Manage product launch strategies, lead execution through channel experts, and measure impact. Track customer engagement, product adoption, and business success.
  • Identify key metrics for success, track progress, and optimize product marketing messaging based on customer feedback.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in product marketing, preferably in e-commerce marketplaces.
  • Proven track record in developing product and go-to-market strategies in e-commerce.
  • Ability to drive innovation and execute projects effectively.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Strong data analysis skills and experience with customer research techniques.
