This Product Marketing Manager role is accountable for the development and execution of the marketing strategy for our data management portfolio, including products such as MX Deposit, Imago, and Central.

As a strong, strategic product marketing manager, you’ll be a primary advocate and domain expert for your portfolio, ensuring the voice of the customer is front and center. You’ll translate complex technical information into compelling positioning that differentiates Seequent from competitors, craft messaging that resonates with target audiences, and develop content for marketing campaigns and sales enablement. You’ll thrive in an ever-evolving, global, and fast-paced environment .

Duties and responsibilities

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for :

  • Developing, implementing, and continuously evolving the product marketing strategy for our data management product portfolio
  • Creating go-to-market strategies and executing them effectively
  • Conducting customer, competitor, and market research to generate insights for marketing strategies and plans
  • Defining clear, impactful product positioning and messaging to differentiate our offerings
  • Collaborating with digital and field marketing teams to promote product adoption and usage
  • Educating and enabling internal teams to communicate our positioning and messaging consistently
  • Developing content such as product briefs, white papers, battlecards, and sales narratives for various audiences
  • Collaborating with UX teams on persona development
  • Contributing to product naming and commercialization decisions

Qualifications and skills include :

  • 7+ years of experience in Product Marketing roles, preferably in B2B software and / or SaaS
  • A degree in business, computer science, or a related field
  • Experience developing global campaign content
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tactics like ABM, SEO, and social media
  • Understanding of B2B buyer personas and customer journeys
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management skills for fast-paced environments
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Strategic and creative thinking with a willingness to innovate
  • Interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and vendor management
  • Ability to influence senior leaders

Additional Information

Office-based environment, working from Christchurch or Vancouver three or more days per week.
