Job summary

ABB Canada seeks a senior Product Marketing Manager to lead the strategy and execution for Smart Power & Smart Buildings product lines. You will drive go-to-market plans, align with global strategy, and support sales with enablement and customer-facing initiatives.

Your role requires 8+ years in low-voltage product management or sales, a Canadian market background, and a bilingual proficiency in French and English. A Engineering degree is essential.

  • Lead go-to-market planning and execution, including launches, pricing, stocking, and training.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across Smart Power and Smart Buildings divisions.
  • Provide sales enablement and customer-facing support, including trade show participation and quotations.
  • Manage the lifecycle of the low-voltage portfolio to optimize ROI.

Each day you will lead go-to-market planning and execution, including launch readiness, sales enablement, internal and partner onboarding, and customer-facing support to drive sales and services performance. You will also support the global Product Management in optimizing the low-voltage distribution portfolio (load centers/breakers/meter panels) with a preferred experience in industrial/OEMs and NEMA solutions, including lifecycle management (development, pricing, profitability, and maintenance) to maximize ROI.This role reports directly to the Product Marketing Director.The work model for the role is: hybridThis role is contributing to the Electrification division for Smart Power & Smart Buildings.You will be mainly accountable for:Division Liaison & Business IntegratorActs as a liaison between Smart Power and Smart Buildings (and/or other divisions), aligning priorities, resolving gaps, coordinating communication, and driving execution across organizational boundaries.Portfolio Orchestration Across Multiple Product FamiliesActs as the solutions architect and manages an assigned portfolio of product lines with accountability for business outcomes, prioritization, and resource coordination, rather than focusing on a single product category or marketing executionStrategic Initiative LeadershipOwns complex cross-functional projects that span multiple product lines, business units, and stakeholders—not just product launches or portfolio management activities.Lead product launch readiness end-to-end, including go-to-market plan, value proposition, competitive positioning, voice-of-customer input, pricing, stocking readiness, and training; advocate market needs to global teams and coordinate cross-functional execution.Translate standards, market inputs, and customer needs into product roadmaps, specifications, and development/transfer business cases.Sales Enablement :Support Sales growth by delivering go-to-market activities, sales enablement, andcustomer-facing support (meetings, trade shows, quotations).Analysis :Analyze market size, trends, customer requirements, and competitors to identify gaps and position ABB’s offering effectively.Product Offering:Partner with Product Management to optimize the legacy industrial solutions low-voltage distribution portfolio (load centers/breakers), ROI, and lifecycle performance (launch, maintenance, pricing, profitability).Drive offering development and enhancements from project specification through launch, proposing differentiated solutions that meet customer needs.Orchestrate the full SBSP solutions to new partners to ensure product adoption and optimal success in partner onboarding.Training :Create and deliver product communications and training materials (technical + sales) for internal teams and external customers to improve sales efficiency.Technical expertise :Provide support on quality and resolution by monitoring warranty cases and key quality cost drivers and ensuring timely corrective actions.Financial Targets:Achieves product marketing targets and budgets by overseeing progress regularly and defining and implementing improvement plans as needed.Relationship Building:Builds and maintains strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.ABB Representation:Uphold ABB’s values and ensure compliance with the code of conduct, applicable regulations/standards, HSE requirements, and sustainability/circular-economy commitments while working cross-functionally (engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, logistics).Represent ABB on industry and standard committees upon assignment/nomination and as per needs.Qualifications for the roleYou have a minimum of 8 years of experience in product management/sales in low voltage solutionsOEM/industrial components and/or NEMA low voltage distribution (i.e load centers/breakers/panels) and/or extensive knowledge or proven experience of low voltage distribution products is preferred.Possess an enhanced knowledge and experience of Canada Market, channel to market, launch strategies, the Canadian Electric Code and relevant product standardBachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical or mechanical)Demonstrated knowledge in development and implementation of Marketing and Sales strategy for low voltage solutions.Sound technical knowledge of electrical distribution equipment.You are at ease communicating in French and English. French is required.
