Description

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including:
  • Gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements
  • Defining the product vision
  • Ensuring product alignment with the company's overall strategy and goals
  • Deep understanding of customer experience:
  • Identifying and filling product gaps
  • Generating new ideas to grow market share
  • Improving customer experience
  • Driving growth
  • Creating buy-in for the product vision internally and with external partners
  • Developing product pricing and positioning strategies
  • Translating product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
  • Prioritizing activities based on business and customer impact
  • Collaborating with engineering teams for quick delivery and optimal resource use
  • Managing product launches with PR, executives, and team members
  • Evaluating promotional plans for consistency and effectiveness
  • Acting as a product evangelist to build awareness
  • Visiting customers to gather feedback on products and services

General Skills:

  • Experience delivering MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and justifications
  • Experience assessing partnerships and licensing opportunities with external parties
  • Experience managing beta and pilot programs, understanding the competitive landscape
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, manage priorities, and maintain client relationships

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Core skills and experience - 40%

  • 5+ years of product management experience in IT or digital services
  • Proven leadership in large-scale digital or IT transformation projects
  • Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, and Lean product development
  • Skills in building and maintaining product roadmaps aligned with business priorities
  • Experience defining and tracking KPIs for product success

Technical skills and experience - 35%

  • Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and user stories
  • Ability to define and communicate a product vision and strategy through discovery work
  • Experience with backlog management, prioritization, and release planning

Communication and documentation skills - 20%

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills
  • Ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience leading demos, roadmapping sessions, and updates

Public Sector Experience - 5%

  • Experience with OPS IT projects and architectural governance
  • Knowledge of OPS Digital, accessibility, and cybersecurity standards

Must Have:

  • 5+ years of strong Business Analyst experience with Scrum Master expertise
  • Hands-on stakeholder management, project leadership, and communication skills
