Job Description:

This is a Contract Position for 1 Year

We are seeking a dynamic Product Manager to lead the strategic development, launch, and management of our Dental Benefits and additional health products. Your role will be crucial in shaping the market through innovative strategies and improving tools for plan sponsors, members, advisors, and business development.

What will you do?

• Develop and execute strategic plans and product roadmaps
• Analyze market trends, the competitive landscape, and customer insights
• Lead product customization and enhancement initiatives
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders for smooth product implementation
• Communicate the product vision to stakeholders
• Provide product training and support organization-wide
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners

Innovation & Product Delivery:

Lead product innovation and delivery by:

• Identifying new opportunities to improve or create products based on client needs, market changes, and competitor analysis
• Shaping product strategies with feature and service suggestions
• Leading lean product launches with a minimum viable product approach
• Monitoring product performance and client feedback for continuous improvement
• Managing product initiatives from planning to execution, including resource and stakeholder management, problem-solving, risk handling, communication, and performance tracking

Your goal is to develop and enhance products that meet client needs and support business growth.

Relationship & Supplier Management

This role involves fostering strong relationships inside and outside the organization to enhance products and identify new business opportunities:

• Collaborate internally to improve strategies and business models
• Engage with healthcare industry experts externally to develop new opportunities
• Assist in creating formal agreements and reviewing contracts with external partners

What do you need to succeed?

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience and in-depth knowledge of the Group Insurance market, including Extended Health Care and Dental products
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proven experience in product launch and management
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with influencing ability
• Understanding of financial dynamics in product management
• Data analysis and management skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in ambiguous environments
• Collaborative, innovative mindset, accountability, and leadership qualities
• Bilingualism (French and English, oral and written) required for Quebec only

Assets:

• University degree in Health-related studies, Marketing, or Business
• Bilingual proficiency

The salary range is from $58,000 to $97,000, depending on location and other factors. Eligible employees participate in incentive plans, with discretionary payments based on performance. Sales roles may have additional sales incentives.
