The successful candidate will build, lead and develop a high performance Enterprise (1000+) sales teams composed of 6+, who will drive significant B2B business growth, year over year, across the country. This role will work closely with leaders and teams across Account Management, Marketing, Communications, Operations, Finance and others plan and execute on sales campaigns ultimately driving quantity, velocity and win rate.

The candidate must have experience leading sales teams specifically focuses on selling Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), Virtual Care (VC) or Wellbeing (WB) products in a B2B setting. In-depth understanding of the EAP, WB, and VC markets, including key trends, client needs, and competitive landscape. Ability to communicate the value propositions and benefits of our solutions effectively to potential clients. Strong focus on customer satisfaction, understanding of the customer journey, and ability to tailor sales approaches to meet specific client needs and create winning outcomes for both the customer and the organization.

What you'll do:

  • Envision, devise and implement a market-leading sales plan, which fully supports growth, overachievement of the business' goals, objectives and sales targets by utilizing the TELUS prescribed methodologies and tools, and overall drives consistent predictable results.
  • Overall accountability for building a market-leading Sales Team via world class talent management, coaching and inspirational leadership, leveraging the TELUS Sales Academy & Premier Sales Organization. Provide accurate, relevant and timely management information on the performance metrics for the business in order to facilitate effective business planning, forecasting and resource allocation.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention, by leading the team to drive real and long-standing relationships that lead to innovative outcomes for your customers.
  • Build and execute on a strategy to drive sales volume through our broker and consulting channel, working closely with our partnerships team.
  • Act as a strong ambassador for the TELUS organization and uphold the values and behaviors of a senior leader in the business and throughout the extended community.
