What is the opportunity?

As the Product Manager, Creditor and Travel Insurance Business, you will support the Creditor and Travel Product team shape, advance and accelerate the client-led product strategy, enhance the client experience, and drive business profitability. You will support initiatives that drive new products, features and capabilities to enhance our product suite, balancing short-term performance with longer term goals. You will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of the product portfolio, proactively identifying and addressing policy and process opportunities, activities and improvements.

What will you do?

•Conduct deep dives into select areas to improve business performance and implement solutions that maximize product effectiveness, efficiency and quality, drive sales, and improve client experience

•Participate in projects from concept to implementation; including work in agile labs environment as a subject matter expert to increase and improve digital footprint

•Assist with the development of business cases to support product development initiatives

•Develop a deep understanding of the products and identify significant customer needs and pain points specific to Creditor and Travel market

•Focus on driving excellent client experience at all client touchpoints, while leading resolution of all issues that impact the advisor or client experience

•Assist with the development of competitive intelligence of the Creditor and Travel market players and related strategies

•Work with a large network of contacts throughout the RBC enterprise and develop strong relationships with external partners

What will you need to succeed?

Must-have

•Undergraduate degree with Business orientation with 2-3 years’ Product Management and Product Design experience

•Experience working with data to generate insights and action plans

•Experience working in matrix environment

•Experience executing initiatives

•Strong collaboration and influencing skills

•Ability to travel within the GTA to attend working sessions with cross functional partners

Nice-to-have

•Experience in Retail and Business Banking and Insurance industry an asset

•Product management experience (Creditor and/or Travel Insurance preferred)

•Product design experience (Creditor and/or Travel Insurance preferred)

•Understanding of Bank distribution channels and systems

•Experience working on agile projects

•Bilingual (English and French)
