Product Manager – LandSure Systems Ltd.

We are a public‑accountable statutory corporation that manages BC’s land title and survey systems. With a team of nearly 100 employees, we deliver information‑system consulting, project management, customer support, and communication services to the Land Title and Survey Authority of BC (LTSA). Our products, including ParcelMap BC and AUTOPROP, help automate property registration and improve turnaround times for customers while supporting provincial housing initiatives such as the Condo and Strata Assignment Integrity Register and the Land Owner Transparency Registry.

Job Summary

The Product Manager drives the product vision and roadmap for LandSure’s land‑related solutions. Reporting to the Director of Product Portfolio, you lead a team of Product Owners and collaborate across engineering, design, and data science to deliver high‑quality, trusted, and reliable products that serve the public interest.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap that aligns with business strategy.
  • Define and prioritize product features and enhancements, including end‑of‑life decisions and revenue models.
  • Translate business and system requirements into actionable specifications that meet functional and non‑functional standards.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, security, and regulatory requirements through collaboration with compliance professionals.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships, gain buy‑in on product direction, and communicate constraints and trade‑offs.
  • Adjust vision and roadmap in response to evolving business and customer needs.
  • Lead cross‑functional, agile SCRUM teams to deliver major epics, releases, architecture work, and technical debt management.
  • Drive continuous improvement of processes, products, and team performance by fostering experimentation and learning.
  • Collaborate closely with customer support teams to create features that enhance support functions and overall customer experience.
  • Establish and monitor team goals, oversee planning, and coach Product Owners to achieve high performance.
Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: 8–10 years of experience in software product or project management, including people‑management experience.
  • Proficiency in translating business strategy into product strategy and a robust understanding of agile frameworks and the full development cycle.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt messages to diverse stakeholders and clients.
  • Experience working in regulated environments, SaaS, and multi‑stakeholder settings; experience in real estate or legal conveyancing is a plus.
  • Technical background in computer science or systems engineering is preferred.
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and public‑sector deployments.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem‑solving abilities; ability to present ideas in user‑friendly language.
  • Self‑starter who thrives in fast‑paced, team‑oriented, collaborative environments.
Compensation

$101,200 – $126,500 annually, reflecting experience and qualifications.
