Description

Our Product Engineering team interfaces with all other engineering teams to reproduce leading edge RF semiconductor prototypes in high-volume manufacturing processes. We are a dynamic team of innovators, guided by data analysis and statistics, solving product-to-production problems with tight product development cycles.

Responsibilities

At Skyworks, you will interface with engineers from several disciplines in a team environment.

A typical day will include:

• Performing calculations and analysis of optimization routines to identify areas of improve convergence of fusing routines.
• Developing experiments using various automatic test systems (Flex, Cohu, GUTS, VNA)
• Programming Automatic Test Equipement (ATE), and creating test programs.
• Evaluating new screening technologies.
• Building analytical tools through prompting AI agents, and AI code generation.

Required Experience and Skills

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degreein Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Physics, or a closely related field.
• Available to workfull-time onsite in Ottawa from January through December 2027.
• Knowledge of RF circuits, analog circuits, and semiconductormeasurement techniques.
• Familiarity with semiconductor device operation and integrated circuit technologies.
• Comfortable working with laboratory equipment and analyzing experimental data

The typical pay range for an intern is currently CAD $25.00 - $44.00 per hour. Starting base pay will depend on level of education and the ultimate job duties and requirements.
