Lumentum Canada in Ottawa is offering an Electrical Engineer Co-op/Intern position for 4–8 months starting January 2027. Compensation is CAD 24–35 per hour.

This student role sits with an experienced HW design team, focusing on verification of analog, digital and mixed-signal circuits for a new optical module product line. You'll gain hands-on experience verifying TIAs, power supplies, MCUs, memories, ADCs/DACs, and you may support a product respin using Cadence tools.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.Sc. or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution.
• Experience with Cadence SC capturing and simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Verify analog circuitry (TIAs, power supplies).
• Verify digital circuitry (MCU, memory).

The Opportunity

Why You’ll Love This Role
