We are seeking a Product Software Engineer to help build the world's best organizational transformation product for complex workforce planning, M&A, and organizational modeling. Our customers are making multi-hundred million dollar plans and decisions on our product with game-like UX.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fullstack development: front end and back end

Qualifications

  • Deep interest in creating a highly interactive and pleasant-to-use web app
  • Motivated and obsessed with solving hard problems
  • Experience with a complex single-page web app
  • End-to-end performance optimizations
  • Solid JavaScript skills
  • Node.js experience
  • Postgres and query optimization experience
  • Previous startup experience
  • [Bonus] Vue.js experience
  • Built a complex web app that can be demonstrated
  • Great communicator
  • Obsessed with great UI/UX
  • Sense of urgency to get things done
  • Works hard, learns fast, and wants to grow quickly
  • Loves to code and understands that shipped code is better than perfect code

Expectations

  • Have a great sense of what a great product looks like and can build a delightful product
  • Great and concise writer to minimize meetings and focus on building the product
  • Get things done quickly with a high-quality bar
  • End-to-end ownership of projects, defined in collaboration with customers, product, design, and other engineers
  • Operate autonomously and seek help to get things done
  • Actively involved in product planning
  • Proactively seek additional work, be self-sufficient, and contribute to team goals
  • Identify project risks and keep projects on track, updating the team regularly
  • Contribute outside of core projects, including code reviews, interviewing, and establishing company/engineering culture

Salary

Base: $4,000+ per month on a fixed-term contract.
