Together, we’re setting new standards in innovation, flexibility, and impact management by helping organizations achieve their missions more efficiently and effectively.

The Product Education Specialist role is an opportunity to join a team working on new and exciting scalability strategies at one of the top tech companies in the philanthropic sector. Within your first 3 months of employment, you will become a subject matter expert in the tools and processes utilized by Product Education and be able to navigate and understand Foundant’s software. Your expertise will be used to create training and learning content for onboarding new and existing clients, as well as new employees. After demonstrating proficiency in developing and maintaining educational content, you will expand your role by contributing to company-wide professional development and knowledge sharing initiatives. The ideal candidate should be self-driven, have an extreme ownership mentality, and require minimal supervision. This role requires an aptitude for continual learning and skill building as it pertains to Product Education.

Our global network of talent is supported by physical office hubs and virtual collaboration, fostering a dynamic environment where innovation and growth thrive.
  • With headquarters in Bozeman, Montana (Foundant), Toronto, Canada (SmartSimple), and our EMEA office in Dublin, Ireland, you’ll be part of a globally connected team. Whether you’re working remotely or from one of our office locations, you’ll be contributing to a vibrant, collaborative culture focused on driving meaningful impact across the world.

What You'll Do:

  • Leverage data to evaluate and help analyze existing learning programs, methods, and materials, and recommend areas for improvement.
  • Understand upcoming product changes and assess their implications for content updates.
  • Work closely with cross-functional team members to coordinate and validate content.
  • Design and develop assessments to evaluate learner comprehension and effectiveness of training resources, ensuring alignment with learning objectives.
  • Master complex concepts and translate them into clear, engaging, and accessible content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Act as an editor for product documentation, maintaining consistency, accuracy, and adherence to style guidelines across all Product Education platforms to deliver a cohesive and professional user experience.
  • Develop online learning content in various formats, including written documentation, video tutorials, and interactive elements using current tools and technologies.
  • Conduct regular audits of learning content to verify it is current and effective.
  • Other duties/projects as assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • 1-2 years of Product Education experience.
  • Minimum of a two-year secondary degree in related field.
  • Tech savvy with ability to quickly master new software; CSS & jQuery skills a plus.
  • Function exceptionally well on your own, work independently, and possess strong self-directed focus.
  • Strong organization and presentation skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Comfortable speaking to large groups of individuals, including senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Familiarity with digital adoption platforms.
  • Video editing and Adobe Suite experience.
  • Familiarity with the Agile framework and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience in technical writing and copy editing.
  • Has been involved in designing a Product Education strategy at a SaaS company.
  • Adaptive Achievement: Handles time pressure and diverse demands with poise, skillfully balancing short-term tasks with long-term projects.
  • Productive Collaboration: Adapts to various personalities and workstyles to collaborate effectively and achieve shared goals.
  • Service Orientation: Ensures clients feel valued by accurately identifying and resolving core and root cause issues, and proactively engaging appropriate expertise when needed.
  • Business Insight: Recognizes and proactively shares valuable information based on an understanding of what colleagues and functions across the company need to improve their effectiveness.
  • Active Learning: Learns from experience, reflecting honestly on challenges, successes, and failures, and applies insights to drive improvements for oneself, the team, and the business.
