Soucy Group in Drummondville, Canada, is seeking a product development engineer to contribute to the defense-sector tracked vehicles, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to push boundaries with high-performance, innovative products.

In this role you will design and model rubber track assemblies, test benches, installation tools, and manufacturing drawings, participate in client meetings, support prototype production on site, and work with suppliers to ensure machining quality.

Responsabilités

• Design and model rubber track assemblies and their components for integration into vehicles
• Design and model various test benches and oversee their manufacturing
• Create installation tools and accessories tailored to the products
• Produce the drawings required for manufacturing
• Participate in client meetings with the technical team
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary product development teams
• Contribute to technological advancements by sharing your ideas and design perspective for the development of new technologies
• Participate in project feasibility studies and the planning of development activities
• Be on-site to support production during prototype manufacturing
• Monitor machined parts and provide technical support to suppliers
