Job summary

Intact is opening a new Product Designer internship in Montreal, joining a diverse Digital, Data and Tech team. You will create mobile UI experiences, work with development, product and marketing to ensure consistent, intuitive and accessible designs across our digital products and platforms.

This 35‑hour per week internship runs Jan 5, 2027 to Apr 23, 2027 and requires active enrollment in a post‑secondary program.

Qualifications

• Degree in UX/UI design or graphic design in progress.
• Portfolio demonstrating UX/UI and UI design knowledge.
• Proficiency with design and prototype tools (Figma).

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. About the role:

We are looking for a talented and passionate Product Designer to join our team and work on our mobile applications. You will play a key role in creating consistent, intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user experiences across our digital products. By working closely with the development, product and marketing teams, you will help shape the future of our platform.

What you’ll do here:

• Create easy to use, engaging and visually stunning designs for mobile applications.
• Develop clear, functional mockups & prototypes.
• Visualize and present creative design concepts.
• Organize design reviews to discuss different creative options.
• Run ideation workshops with other designers to generate a wide range of ideas.
• Generate UI assets and work with developers to implement and validate specifications.
• Leverage our Design System libraries and design guidelines for multiple brands.
• Advocate for new guidelines and feed libraries in the Design System with the design community.
• Be an advocate for user‑centred, data‑driven design.

What you bring to the table:

• Degree in UX/UI design or graphic design in progress
• Strong interest in business analysis and documentation processes
• Portfolio demonstrating good knowledge of UX and UI design.
• Proficiency in design and prototype tools (Figma etc.).
• Knowledge of mobile design principles and accessibility.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Attention to detail and passion for creating quality user experiences.Bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country
• Available 35 hours a week from January 5th to April 23rd, 2027
• Must be actively enrolled in a post‑secondary institution for the duration of the internship

Additional assets:

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with Design Systems
