Job summary

PRICE INDUSTRIES LIMITED is seeking a Product Designer to design and test HVAC equipment per client specifications, using SolidWorks and related tools. You will perform calculations, simulations, and analyses to optimize performance and manufacturability, and prepare BOMs and manufacturing docs for projects.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in SolidWorks software and other relevant design tools.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, codes, standards, manufacturing, and testing related to HVAC industry; electrical/controls knowledge a plus.
• Experience with sheet metal manufacturing processes is an asset.
• MRP or ERP experience is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Description of Incumbent Experience Required (Must Know):
