This part-time role involves sampling products for suppliers within a Sam’s Club location. Product Demonstrators introduce customers to new items and brands through product tasting events, sampling, or demonstrations. Experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, or as a brand ambassador is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engaging customers and communicating key product points.
• Ensuring food safety compliance during sample preparation (cooking, processing, plating, serving).
• Collaborating with the team to meet sales goals.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years old (18+ for alcohol and production roles).
• Availability on weekends (Friday-Sunday); holidays and weekdays optional.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet.
• Ability to safely operate appliances (microwave, toaster oven, hot plate).
• Ability to stand for the duration of the event.
• Open to applicants without a high school or college degree, with no experience, returning to work, or military background. Training provided.

Work Environment

Moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery environment. Possible exposure to cold, refrigerated areas, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
