Job summary

CAE invites students pursuing a university degree to join as a Product Cybersecurity Specialist Intern in Montreal. The 2027 internship runs January 4 to April 23, with hybrid mode and a focus on implementing security controls across CAE's high-tech products like simulators and training solutions.

You will analyze safety risks, implement security measures, test software, and secure networks while learning from experts on a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Be in process to obtain a college degree in computer science, or a university degree in computer science or computer science engineering or a related program.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of network products(e.g.: Cisco)
• Knowledge of ISO 27001/27002, ITIL and COBIT frameworks and standards, an asset.
• Knowledge of distributed system paradigms,andreal-time system, an asset.
• Knowledge of tools for vulnerability identification and aggregation of log entries (e.g.Rapid 7 Insight VM, Kiwi Syslog, Splunk, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Analyze the specifications to assess the safety risks on the training product
• Implement security measures and data recovery plans
• Install, configure, test and upgrade security softwarewithin a product laboratory
• Secure networks with firewalls, password protection and other systems
• Inspect hardware for vulnerable access points
