Trane Technologies is seeking a Product Application Engineer – Building Automation to design, test, and support hardware and software solutions that implement BrainBox AI in buildings. The role requires experience with HVAC control, IoT, and related systems, plus Linux and Python skills.

Are you fascinated in leveraging AI to gain insight in the behavior of buildings? You will be part of the team that develops, designs, and supports hardware products to implement BrainBox AI solutions in buildings.
Up for the challenge? You should be well versed with HVAC control, lighting, and refrigeration systems. Familiar with designing, testing, documenting, and implementing HVAC control and IoT solutions. As well, a bonus if you work in Linux and code in python. Important to be open to share your experience and knowledge.

Your primary objective is to support the hardware team in designing, configuring, testing, delivering, and maintaining hardware products, whether being newly installed or already deployed in the field.
Language Requirements French-English bilingualism is required. In addition to fluency in French, successful candidates must have full professional proficiency in English in order to support and collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or various stakeholders. As detailed in the job description, this position requires regular oral and written communication with other Trane teams located across Canada and occasionally the United States, with English speaking customers across Canada, and with English speaking vendors or suppliers across Canada and occasionally the United States. Based on an assessment of the duties of this position, we have determined that the position requires daily oral and written use of English, in addition to French.
Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range: $85,816.66 - $120,084.99 Compensation Type: Salary Incentive Eligible: No Sales Commission Eligible: No Disclaimer: We strive to provide competitive compensation for this position, tailored to a variety of factors. The actual compensation will depend on elements such as seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation.
