Job Overview

We are seeking a Product Analyst to join our Product Development and Management team. The successful candidate will conduct research and analysis to define and assist in the development of new products, as well as manage and enhance existing products in areas such as design, pricing, investment strategy, operations, and client experience.

Our team develops and markets leading investment solutions and platforms for all retail segments of the Canadian market.

What You Will Do

• Support escalated inquiries by understanding CI and Assante products
• Research market trends across CI’s distribution channels
• Create detailed business specifications for new product development or enhancements
• Assist Product Manager throughout the product lifecycle
• Identify opportunities for sales improvements
• Develop internal communications for product initiatives
• Review and amend legal/disclosure and marketing documents under guidance

What You Will Bring

• Post-secondary education, preferably in finance or accounting
• Certifications such as Canadian Securities Course, IFIC Mutual Funds Course, CFP, or CIM
• Strong knowledge of the investment industry, funds, and CI/Assante products
• Creative and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of advisor practices and open communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills
