Job description
Overview

This is a hands-on, technical role that supports the Program Manager. The Product Analyst, Phishing Simulation Program is responsible for the technical aspects of the program, including troubleshooting platform issues, performing in-depth analysis and gathering threat intelligence to help inform the creation of realistic and challenging phishing simulations and learning modules.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and support for the phishing simulation platform.

  • Troubleshoot issues related to campaign delivery, such as email deliverability, report phishing button issues, etc.

  • Extract, clean, and analyze raw data from phishing simulations, DLP remediation, reported legitimate phishing incidents, etc. to identify trends, user behavior patterns, and anomalies.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and custom reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and insights.

  • Work with the program manager to translate technical data into actionable business intelligence.

  • Research and analyze current phishing tactics, techniques, and procedures used by real-world attackers to help influence future simulations and learning opportunities.

  • Develop scripts or automation workflows to streamline repetitive tasks, such as data processing or campaign setup.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as Threat Hunting, SOC, and Fraud, to gather information and stay up-to-date on emerging threats, which will inform the development of targeted and effective cybersecurity awareness and training programs.

Must-have
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical role or analytical role, such as a data analyst, quality assurance tester, or technical support specialist

  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)

  • Proven experience with data extraction, analysis and dashboard creation.

  • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

  • High level of analytical skill, with the ability to identify patterns and trends in large datasets.

  • Strong attention to detail for accurate data analysis and reporting

  • Experience with automation tools and APIs to streamline processes.

Nice-to-Have
  • Proficiency in a scripting language like Python and experience with data query languages like SQL.

  • Certification in a technical or analytical field.

  • Understanding of phishing tactics, techniques, and procedures, including the latest threats and vulnerabilities.

  • Familiarity with NIST cybersecurity framework and standards, and experience with compliance regulations.
