A leading company is seeking a Product Analyst for a 6-month contract in Toronto. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, conducting process mapping, and supporting digital product development. At Aviva, we’re looking for a Product Analyst to join us on a 6-month contract to help shape and support the development of digital products that make a real difference in the lives of Canadians.
This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in business analysis, who’s comfortable working across teams to gather requirements, map processes, and translate business needs into actionable insights and product improvements.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business requirements and translate them into clear product features and user stories.
Conduct current-state analysis and process mapping to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for digital solutions.
Support the development of business cases, including cost-benefit analysis and impact assessments.
Facilitate workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to align teams and clarify objectives.
Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Developers to ensure business needs are accurately reflected in product design and delivery.
Help define and track KPIs to measure product performance and business impact.
Assist in backlog grooming and prioritization, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and help validate solutions that meet business and user expectations.
Proven experience in a business analyst or product analyst role, ideally supporting digital product development.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills—you’re comfortable working with both qualitative and quantitative data.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills—you can bridge the gap between business and technical teams.
Experience writing user stories, process documentation, and functional specifications.
Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Figma, and data visualization platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.
A collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, agile environment.
