FreshCo Calgary is seeking a Produce Manager to lead department staff, manage budgets, and drive exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. You will coach, motivate, and develop team members, maintain product presentation, supervise inventory, and ensure compliance with safety and company standards while delivering strong store results and guest satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 18+ months in retail, produce experience preferred, and strong proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of retail store experience.
• Produce experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of store operations.
• Experience reading financial reports and budgets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Lead department staff through coaching, motivation, and development to foster engagement.
• Manage the Produce department budget, labour costs, inventory, and merchandising.
• Maintain product presentation and adherence to company standards and policies.
• Provide superior customer service and address customer needs.
• Oversee scheduling, performance management, and staff training.
• Coordinate with store operations on requirements and changes.
• Ensure health & safety, food safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze financial performance and contribute to forecasting and targets.
• Support community and in-store events as needed.
