Job summary

FreshCo / FreshCo Chalo in Vancouver is looking for a Produce Clerk to help maintain a well-stocked department and assist customers. Full training is provided for this position, with an emphasis on friendly service and accuracy.

The role involves stocking, rotating, and merchandising produce, greeting customers, and supporting backroom tasks. Evening and weekend availability is welcome, and a positive, team-oriented attitude is essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Upholds and complies with company procedures, standards and policies in all situations
• Greets customers in a polite and friendly manner
• Demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with FreshCo's programs
• Stocking produce and related product to shelves such as (Frozen, perishable and non-perishables)
• Maintaining and building merchandise displays
• Rotation of product
• Loading and unloading of product for the sales floor
• Backroom and inventory management
• Any other duties as assigned by the Department Manager

Maintaining a well-stocked department so that the customer shopping experience is quick, easy and efficient is the key to building loyalty. That is why our Produce Clerks play such an important role in the success of our stores. Full training is provided for this position.
