Job summary

Sobeys is seeking a Produce Clerk at an independently owned Sobeys/affiliate location in Alberta. You will help keep the produce department well stocked, greet customers politely, and support inventory and backroom tasks to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

No prior experience required; full training is provided. The role emphasizes strong customer service, teamwork, safety, and flexible hours including evenings and weekends, with a Sunday shift in Alberta encouraged.

• Greets customers in a polite and friendly manner.

• Stocking produce and related products to shelves (Frozen, perishable and non-perishables).
• Maintaining and building merchandise displays in Sobeys programs.
• Rotation of product.
• Loading and unloading of product for the sales floor.
• Backroom and inventory management.
• Operating a cash register as needed for relief during peak business hours.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
