Job summary

University of Guelph seeks an experienced Systems & Training lead in Guelph, Ontario. You will manage Oracle Purchasing, Bonfire, OneForm, and SharePoint-based knowledge systems, and design training programs for staff across the university.

Reporting to the Manager of Strategic Sourcing, you will optimize user adoption, create guides and job aids, and ensure compliance with policies and audit standards while supporting cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in business administration, supply chain management, finance, information systems or related field with 3–6 years of experience.
  • Purchasing designation such as SCMP, CPPO, NIGP-CPP, CFSP/CFSMM or CSCL is required or desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver training and documentation.
  • Strong ethics, accountability and ability to handle complex information.

  • Maintain system configuration, workflows, roles and permissions for compliance and effectiveness.

  • Manage Procurement SharePoint sites including structure, permissions and governance.

General Purpose

Reporting to the Manager of Strategic Sourcing, the Systems & Training is responsible for leading the effective administration, optimization, and user adoption of procurement systems and tools. This role provides functional leadership in the areas of Oracle Purchasing, Bonfire e-procurement, OneForm and SharePoint-based knowledge management, while designing and delivering training programs to support staff across the University.

Requirements
