Job summary

Health Shared Services is seeking a Procurement Specialist I to perform purchasing functions in line with policies, ensuring timely acquisition of supplies, equipment and services for the CE Renal Support team at Foothills Medical Centre.

Responsibilities include sourcing information, preparing RFQs, issuing purchase orders, and maintaining effective vendor communication. Regular full-time days shift, weekends off, with 7.75-hour shifts.

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

You will be responsible for the acquisition and procurement of routinely purchased supplies, equipment and services within assigned work groups. Your other responsibilities may include researching and collating information, preparing requests for quotations, and issuing purchase orders using pre-set templates and established rules.
