Job summary

IMAX is seeking a procurement professional to manage purchase orders and supplier coordination to support the manufacturing schedule. You will ensure materials are ordered and delivered on time, while maintaining accurate delivery dates in the MRP system.

The role requires a post-secondary diploma in a related field, 2–5 years of supply chain experience, and SAP/ERP proficiency, with strong negotiation and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma/degree in a related discipline (materials management, supply chain, business, engineering).
• Industry certifications (SCMP, CSCMP, CPIM, CSCP, CCLP) are assets.
• 2–5 years of supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• MRP/ERP experience required (SAP preferred).
• Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong team player with cross-functional experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem analysis and resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Create Purchase Orders based on manufacturing schedule, MRP demand and Purchase Requisitions.
• Contact suppliers to confirm delivery dates and negotiate improved dates as required.
• Update and maintain accurate product delivery dates in the MRP system.
• Build effective business relationships and follow up with suppliers on past due orders.
• Assist in developing and negotiating supplier agreements.
• Develop and implement cost reduction strategies.
• Help resolve receiving, payment or supplier paperwork issues.
• Work closely with team members to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

About The Role

What We’re Looking For

Hiring Range

$57,489.00 / 57.489,00$ - $71,860.00 / 71.860,00$ (per year / par an) Final pay within this range will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and the geographic location of the role. Additional non‑discretionary compensation may apply where eligible.
