Pratt & Whitney Canada in Longueuil, QC, is seeking a Procurement Account Manager to lead supplier performance and drive a reliable, cost-effective supply chain. You will manage contracts, develop supplier relationships, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Operations to deliver value.

The role requires experience in international supply chain management, strong analytical skills, and the ability to navigate complex supplier networks. On-site, Monday–Friday with flexible hours.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage execution of supplier contracts and corrective actions to address performance issues (cost, quality, delivery).

• Implement the SRM strategy for your supplier portfolio and foster long-term partnerships.
• Monitor supplier capacity and delivery promises; coordinate with suppliers to close performance gaps and ensure commitments are met.
• Lead supplier performance reviews and drive root-cause analyses to implement corrective actions and recovery strategies.
• Analyze value stream spending and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
• Promote continuous improvement by sharing best practices across the supply chain organization.

As a Procurement Account Manager, you will play a critical role in managing supplier performance and ensuring a reliable, cost-effective supply chain. You will be responsible for driving supplier performance across cost, quality, and delivery for an assigned portfolio of suppliers, while ensuring the on-time delivery of the commodities under your responsibility.

In this highly collaborative role, you will lead supplier development initiatives at supplier sites and work closely with Strategic Sourcing to support strategic partnerships and key business initiatives. You will also partner with Supplier Quality, Engineering, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to resolve production issues, improve supplier performance, and deliver continuous value to the business.

You will contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of team processes, including standard work, KPIs, and best practices.

The position is based at our Longueuil location, from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

Flexibility in work hours may be required to support operational priorities and evolving business needs.

What will your day-to-day look like?

• Manage the execution of supplier contracts, including implementing corrective actions to address performance issues related to cost, quality, and delivery.
• Develop strong relationships with assigned suppliers and collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Quality, Engineering, Operations, and Strategic Sourcing) to improve supplier performance and reduce the total cost of purchased materials.
• Implement the supplier relationship management (SRM) strategy for your supplier portfolio, fostering long-term partnerships that support business objectives.
• Monitor supplier capacity, ensure the accuracy of supplier promise dates, and track delivery performance. Work directly with suppliers to close performance gaps by proactively identifying risks and implementing recovery plans to ensure customer commitments are met.
• Lead supplier performance reviews and work directly with suppliers to resolve delivery, quality, and operational issues through root cause analysis. Develop effective corrective action plans and implement recovery strategies to optimize supplier performance and achieve business objectives.
• Analyze value stream spending and supplier performance data to identify opportunities for cost reduction, margin improvement, and increased operational efficiency.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process optimization opportunities and sharing best practices across the supply chain organization

What do you need to be successful?

• Professional experience in supply chain management within an international environment.
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to evaluate complex information, identify emerging risks, perform risk assessments, and provide actionable recommendations to support decision-making.
• Proven ability to synthesize information from multiple sources to identify threats, assess risk levels, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Postsecondary education in Business Administration, Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or another related discipline.
• Certification, formal training, or hands-on experience in supply management, logistics, or a closely related field.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment by effectively managing competing priorities and adapting to changing business needs.
• Experience evaluating supplier performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and driving strategic initiatives that support operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, fostering trust, collaboration, and effective communication across cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex situations, exercise sound judgment, determine when escalation is appropriate, and prepare thorough analyses to support informed decisions.
• Innovative mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and develop creative, practical solutions to business challenges.
• Excellent problem-solving and project management skills, with experience establishing clear milestones, tracking progress, and delivering results against action-oriented objectives.
• Knowledge of the aerospace industry, manufacturing, or other highly regulated environments is considered an asset.

Willingness and ability to travel within the United States and internationally, as business needs require.

This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
