Avion Technologies Inc. is seeking a on-site Purchasing/Procurement role in Mississauga. The candidate will handle procurement of general and specialized equipment, negotiate with suppliers, and supervise staff involved in purchasing activities.

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, with 1–2 years of relevant experience. The position offers full-time, permanent employment with benefits including health, dental, and other plans.

Responsibilities

• Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials or services.

• Develop specifications for equipment and supplies to be purchased.
• Negotiate offers from suppliers and consult with them.
• Hire, train and supervise staff involved in procurement.
• Review quotations and determine contract terms.
• Award contracts to appropriate parties and establish delivery schedules.
• Monitor progress of deliveries and resolve supplier issues.
