You want a stable job that fuels your big-mountain, small-town lifestyle.

You’re reliable, hands-on and take pride in doing things right.

You want to work somewhere people, not just output, matter.

You love coffee. Period.

You’ve got your crew’s back. You show up daily with respect and care for others.

Bottom line: work hard, live well, be a good kick in the ass for the world.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Help fuel road trips, morning rituals, and everything in between. You'll be crafting quality beverages, welcoming guests, running the register, restocking merch, and helping keep our café looking sharp. It's fast-paced, a little unpredictable, and never boring. You can switch gears quickly, stay organized, and make people feel right at home.

In a nutshell, yeah, you'll be making delicious coffee... but you'll also be creating the one-of-a-kind café experience we're known for. The coffee gets people through the door. The experience is what they'll remember, long after the last sip.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Connect with guests and help them find their perfect coffee.
  • Take orders, process payments and keep the line flowing.
  • Make quality coffee and espresso drinks that hit the spot every time.
  • Deliver food and drinks to tables.
  • Keep the café clean and organized.
  • Restock supplies, merch, and ingredients before they run low.
  • Bus tables and jump in on dishes when needed.
  • Help keep our indoor and outdoor spaces looking their best.
  • Learn more about coffee through tastings and training.
  • Follow safety and quality program practices.
  • Contribute ideas and collaborate with the team to keep improving how we work.
WHAT YOU BRING

MUST HAVES:

  • Previous food and beverage experience (café, restaurant, or similar environment)
  • Love for coffee. If you aren’t keen to make a mean cup of joe or learn about all things coffee, this may not be for you.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to keep pace in a quick-moving, team-focused environment.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

ASSETS:

  • Food Safe Level 1 or 2 certification.
  • Coffee experience, including latte art, brewing methods, espresso calibrations, and knowledge of flavour profiles.
  • Point of sale systems and cash handling experience.
THE DETAILS
  • This is an on-site position located in Invermere, BC.
  • This is a full-time, permanent position on our Cafe team, working an average of 40 hours per week with a paid half-hour lunch on 8-hour shifts. We will also consider candidates looking for part-time work – don’t let this stop you from applying!
  • The hourly rate for this role ranges from $19.00 - $23.64 per hour, depending on experience, and is eligible for tips.
  • Shifts can start as early as 6 AM and run as late as 5:30 PM.
  • Our Café is open seven days a week during the summer, with days off occurring during the week. In the shoulder season, days off typically fall on Tuesdays and Wednesdays when the Café is closed.
  • Our busiest days are often weekends and holidays, so availability for these shifts is required.
THE GOOD STUFF

  • Extended medical, dental and vision coverage, with $2,000 flexible paramedical services coverage, EFAP, and a $700 annual Wellness Allowance.
  • Damn good discounts on coffee beans and food.

  • 4 weeks of paid vacation after one year of work, plus get a paid day off to celebrate your birthday.
WHY THIS PLACE IS DIFFERENT

Our flagship Café is one of a kind. As the home of Canada’s #1 selling whole bean coffee, it’s where our brand comes to life, one cup, one meal, and one guest experience at a time. More and more people are making the trip to sip kick‑ass coffee, enjoy incredible food, and soak up the mountain café atmosphere. That's why we're looking for more awesome humans to join the team.

For 30 years, we've been roasting coffee in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. For over a decade, we've been serving it in a café that's become a destination in its own right. It's remote, a little unconventional, and exactly how we like it.

We don’t cut corners. We don’t do average. And we definitely don’t do half‑assed. From how we source our beans to how we treat our people, we’re all in.

WHAT WE VALUE

Do What’s Right. It’s not always neat and tidy. It means taking care of people, the planet and the business. No posturing, no greenwashing, just grown‑up conversations and real accountability.

Do It All With Love. Love? Buck yeah, Love! It’s our not‑so‑secret ingredient. We care deeply about the work we do, the people we work with, and the impact we have. That love shows up in every cup.

Be Remarkable. Every now and then, we crank the dial past ten. We’re not here to play it safe or follow the crowd. We’re here to break patterns, defy expectations, and drop a few jaws along the way. If it’s forgettable, it’s not for us.

Cut the Bullshit. It’s about systems that work without waste, kindness without drama and root‑cause thinking over quick fixes. When we cut through noise, we make space for what matters: trust, clarity, and meaningful progress.

Never Half-Ass It. We’re on a mission to annihilate mediocrity. It’s about craftsmanship, care, and commitment. It’s about creating something we’re proud of, every time.

SPIRIT OF LOVE

Love means welcoming everyone to ensure an inclusive place for all. We seek team members from all walks of life, backgrounds, and cultures.
