Job summary

Harbour Air Aerospace Services Ltd. is seeking a Procurement Coordinator to join our Richmond, BC team. You will administer non-aviation contracts, review potential vendors, manage purchasing, inventory and office-supply requests, and assist in organizing departmental manuals.

The role supports our supply chain in a safety-sensitive, fast-paced environment. We value strong English communication, ERP experience, and the ability to collaborate within a team.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a supply chain department.
  • Proficient in Excel and Word processing.
  • Strong communication in English, written and spoken.
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment.
  • Experience using an ERP system for inventory and shipping processes.

Responsibilities

  • Administration of non-aviation contracts.
  • Initial review of potential new vendors.
  • All non-routine purchasing.
  • Receiving and filling requests from other bases.
  • Sourcing, ordering and filling office supply and uniform requests.
  • Assisting in organizing and maintaining inventory.
  • Creating and updating departmental training manuals and sales documents.
  • Managing receiving/distribution and some purchasing of souvenirs.
  • Local deliveries and pickups.
  • Invoice reconciliation and approvals across platforms.
  • MSDS database maintenance.
  • Answering and directing calls within Purchasing and Stores; other clerical duties.

RESPONIBILITIES
  • Administration of non-aviation contracts.
  • Initial review of potential new vendors.

QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE
  • Prior experience in a supply chain department.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a fast paced and safety sensitive environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with good command of English both written and spoken
  • Ability and desire to work in a team-based environment.

  • Experience using an ERP system, committed to successful implementation of new software and hardware to manage inventory and the shipping process.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform active tasks.
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Proficient ability in Excel and word processing systems.
  • Aviation and/or industrial experience is an asset.
