THE OPPORTUNITY

You will manage vendor relationships, make process improvements, control your category costs, engage in cross-functional projects, and ensure exemplary service to our stakeholders.

You will be responsible for vendor negotiations and procurement activities supporting all Canadian based product procurement and new restaurant growth working with counterparts throughout the extended store development team including Construction, Finance and Facilities Management.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Maintain and scale pipeline of qualified manufacturing and supplier partners to meet business needs. Resolve issues with incumbents to maintain qualified standing.
• Work with cross-functional teams to onboard new suppliers that meet CMG standards to help support growth and diversification.
• Manage procurement for both new products and R&D and improving the core menu.
• Build / maintain excellent relationships with vendors, ensure they abide by CMG policies and fulfill deliveries. Includes some travel for supplier site visits.
• Stay current on commodities and economic factors that impact your categories. Apply market data to update forecasts and present findings during category updates to senior leadership.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising supply assurance or quality.
• Managing overarching contracts, price and supply while building out a scalable, best-in-class procurement model and NRO supply chain strategies driving the most favorable terms for the business to support Chipotle's future expansion plans.
• Owns and manages stakeholder relationships for NRO supply chain, serving as first point of escalation, working through challenges and providing solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

• Bachelor's Degree (BC / BA) or Diploma Program in Procurement or Supply Chain is required.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience with a preference for background in equipment and small wares.
• Experience in onboarding new suppliers (sourcing, vetting, qualifying, maintaining).
• Experience collaborating with various stakeholders including marketing, culinary and FSQA.
• Strong financial acumen (complex price models, negotiation prep, commodity analysis, financial reconciliation).
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to perform proficient data analysis, financial analysis, superior communication and presentation skills, negotiation skills, and influencing skills.
• Understanding of procurement process : spend analysis, opportunity identification, RFI / RFP process, stakeholder management, negotiations, and contracting.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

Pay range is $76,000.00–$104,500.00 depending on skill level, experience and / or education. Compensation offered is also subject to local wage and hour laws.
