Job summary

Organigram Global in Winnipeg is seeking a Processing Technician to join our full‑time production team. This role supports GMP-compliant, high-quality cannabis product manufacturing and requires attention to detail, strong safety focus, and the ability to work both independently and with a team.

The position reports to the Production Manager, with hours Monday to Thursday, 7 am to 5:30 pm. Applicants should be prepared for a fast-paced environment and shift work as needed.

Qualifications

• Follows SOPs and GMPs in production.
• Performs sampling, weighing and analysis to maintain product quality.
• Escalates issues to shift lead/supervisor.
• Maintains clean production areas and completes startup/cleaning checklists.
• Accurate data documentation throughout daily routines.
• Collaborates with the shift lead/supervisor to complete shift tasks.

• Conduct sampling, weighing and analysis to maintain product quality.

ProcessingTechnician

Status:Full-time

Reports to:Production Manager

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7 am to 530 pm

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, our ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes initiative, displays problem-solving and decision‑making abilities, has excellent organizational skills and can maintain a positive, professional attitude in a fast paced and changing work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) in a full-scale production environment.


• Conduct programs of sampling, weighing and analysis to maintain quality standards of products.


• Responsible for escalating issues to shift lead/supervisor


• Responsible for general housekeeping of production area.


• Responsible for completion of startup/cleaning checklists


• Ensure accurate information and data are being documented throughout the day to day routine


• Collaborate with shift lead/supervisor to ensure all tasks are completed for the shift


• Cleaning and maintenance of production stations


• Adherence to health and safety policies


• Escalate quality deviations or production constraints to shift lead/supervisor


• Other duties as may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong sense of work quality and safety;


• Effortlessly takes direction and follows through on tasks;


• Capable of working both independently and on a team;


• Good communication skills both written and verbal;


• Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills;


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;


• Experience in food manufacturing and/or in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment would be considered an asset;


• Previous production experience would be considered an asset;


• Keen eye for detail;


• Ability to meeting physical demands including reaching, bending, walking, standing and performing repetitive work;


• Flexibility to work shift work as required.
