Job summary

The Process Technician II at TOPPAN Packaging Canada Corporation in Mississauga plays a critical role in supporting production across Printing, Lamination, and Slitting. You will monitor processes, analyze waste, and coordinate trials to identify opportunities to improve performance and productivity.

You will work closely with Process Engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure quality and timely results.

Qualifications

• Accreditation from a technical school or skilled trades program.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds safely.
• Reliable with strong initiative and quality focus.
• Able to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze waste across manufacturing processes and track trends.
• Plan and execute manufacturing trials with Process Engineering.
• Support production teams during trial runs and document results.
• Perform root-cause analysis and adjust process parameters as needed.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and cross-functional teams.
• Document changes and communicate findings to stakeholders.
