Job summary

De Beers Group has a full-time opportunity for a motivated Process Plant Operator at the Gahcho Kué Mine Site in the Northwest Territories. Reporting to the Process Plant Supervisor, you will work a 14 day on/14 day off rotation to maximize throughput and diamond recovery.

You will operate and monitor plant equipment, maintain logs, comply with safety standards, and support our commitment to Building Forever. Relocation support and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

Experience on small mobile equipment.
Strong communication skills.
Proven commitment to Safety, Health and Environmental standards.
Preference given to Indigenous or local Northwest Territories residents.

Responsibilities

Operate crushers, rock breakers, scrubbers, conveyors, vibrating screens, pumps, thickeners and recovery equipment.
Monitor and inspect plant equipment and systems to detect malfunctions and ensure normal operation.
Record process data and report deviations to minimize delays and breakdowns.
Complete and maintain plant logs and reports.
Maintain areas and responsibilities according to SOPs and preventive maintenance.
