Job description

The Process Operations team is hiring a Process Supervisor on a permanent basis at our Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC) in Regina SK, reporting to the Section (Zone) Supervisor III / IV.

You are committed to safe, reliable operations and are looking to contribute to overall efficiency and continuous improvement. This opportunity will help demonstrate your leadership abilities to provide competent direction to Process Operators in Section III or IV in the Process department.

What you'll do :

  • Be responsible for empowering the process team by setting expectations and objectives through the implementation of operating plans, procedures, and programs.
  • Cultivate a positive safety culture and ensure team members comply with company policies to perform their duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.
  • Provide ongoing communication, coaching, feedback, and mentoring to Process Operators.
  • Prepare and conduct performance reviews for team members.

Who you'll work with :

The Team : You will work closely with Process Operators and Process Supervisors. You will lead a team of up to 10 Process Operators and report to the Section (Zone) Supervisor, fostering a culture of efficiency, safety, and collaboration.

Who you are :

You are seeking a career in Production Trades and Maintenance, and :

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of leadership experience plus 6 years of experience within an industrial or production environment (a total of 8 years of relevant, progressively responsible experience). A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
  • Have a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, plus at least one year of post-secondary or technical training. Power Engineering certification (minimum 4th class) is considered a strong asset.
  • Hold a Class 5 driver's license in good standing.
  • On-scene Commander Training and Fire Brigade Leader Certificate are preferred.
