As a Process Improver, you’ll play a key technical role focused on enhancing process performance, standardization, and efficiency in a high-volume production environment. What You’ll Do
- Champion a safety-first culture through proactive risk management and adherence to safety and environmental standards.
- Lead the implementation of 5S, TPM, and visual management systems to support workplace safety and organization.
- Monitor daily performance across shifts to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions to maintain process stability.
- Partner with production, maintenance, and quality teams to quickly resolve production issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to reduce process variability, improve productivity, and minimize waste.
- Develop and maintain clear, consistent Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
- Lead training initiatives for operators and supervisors to reinforce process understanding and compliance.
- Conduct regular SOP audits and collaborate with leadership to address performance gaps.
- Execute improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, performance enhancement, and process reliability.
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, and A3 methodologies to drive measurable results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain improvement gains through documentation, training, and standardization.
- Support capital and equipment projects alongside engineering and maintenance.
- Collect, interpret, and report key performance data (OEE, scrap, downtime, cycle time, labor efficiency).
- Ensure data accuracy within MES systems and support visual management through dashboards and control charts.
- Serve as a technical bridge between production, maintenance, engineering, materials, and quality.
- Actively participate in Kaizen events, daily meetings, and cross-shift handovers to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using root cause analysis, lean tools, and statistical process control.
- Proven experience improving manufacturing processes and systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with TPM, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Green Belt or Black Belt certification in Lean or Six Sigma.
