East Coast Credit Union Ltd. is seeking a Process Excellence Specialist to partner with teams across the organization.

You will identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance efficiency, and deliver measurable value for members and staff. Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Process Excellence, you will design and implement sustainable solutions, develop dashboards, and drive enterprise transformation initiatives that align with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is required.
• Three to five years of progressive experience in process improvement or organizational transformation.
• Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, journey mapping, or continuous improvement practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop recommendations and implementation plans to simplify work and reduce costs.
• Prepare process maps, SOPs, workflows, and decision matrices per enterprise standards.
• Support governance by ensuring documentation is accurate, current, and audit-ready.
• Define process success metrics with leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Monitor post-implementation outcomes and quantify benefits for further enhancements.
• Develop dashboards and reports to communicate process performance for data-driven decisions.
• Support pilots, testing, training, and knowledge transfer for sustained adoption.

Reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Process Excellence, The Process Excellence Specialist partners with teams across the organization to identify opportunities to improve business processes, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver better experiences for members and employees. Using data, process improvement methodologies, and collaboration with key stakeholders, the role supports the design and implementation of sustainable solutions that reduce risk, increase effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement across East Coast Credit Union. Through process analysis, facilitation, and change support, the Specialist helps ensure operational improvements deliver measurable value and align with organizational goals.

You would…

• Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, control gaps, compliance risks, and opportunities for standardization, automation, and improved member and employee experiences.
• Develop recommendations and implementation plans that simplify work, enhance service delivery, reduce costs, strengthen controls, and align with enterprise transformation objectives.
• Prepare and maintain process maps, standard operating procedures, workflows, decision matrices, and other documentation in accordance with enterprise standards.
• Support process governance by ensuring documentation remains accurate, current, and audit-ready, and by assisting in the identification of appropriate process owners and accountabilities.
• Partner with business leaders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to define process success metrics and key performance indicators.
• Monitor and validate post-implementation outcomes, quantify operational and financial benefits, and recommend corrective actions or further enhancements as appropriate.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and insights that communicate process performance and support data-driven decision-making.
• Support pilots, testing, training, knowledge transfer, and operational handoff activities to ensure redesigned processes are effectively embedded and sustained.
• Partner with subject matter experts, business leaders, operations teams, product owners, and transformation partners to co-create practical and scalable solutions.
• Facilitate workshops, root-cause analyses, and working sessions that build alignment and consensus across functions.
• Stay current on industry trends, benchmarks, and emerging technologies, contributing innovative ideas that strengthen efficiency, resilience, and continuous improvement across the organization.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Three to five years of progressive experience in process improvement, business analysis, operational excellence, or organizational transformation, preferably within a financial institution or complex service environment, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Demonstrated experience analyzing, mapping, documenting, and optimizing business processes using process improvement methodologies, including Lean, Six Sigma, journey mapping, or continuous improvement practices.
