Fusion Pharmaceuticals, a member of the AstraZeneca Group, is seeking an intern for 4 months in the Process Engineering department at the Hamilton site. The role focuses on building experience with radioconjugates and related GMP processes in a fully on-site setting from January to April 2027.
You will contribute to equipment checks, process improvement projects, and documentation, while gaining exposure to technology transfer and regulatory controls in a manufacturing environment.

Fusion Pharmaceuticals, a member of the AstraZeneca Group, is a clinical-stage oncology company focused on developing next generation radioconjugates (RCs) as precision medicines. Fusion has multiple pipeline programs entering early FIH trials. In addition, Fusion is pursuing combination programs between RCs and other therapeutic modalities including DNA Damage Response Inhibitors (DDRis) and immune-oncology agents. To support execution for these programs, Fusion has a fully operational Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) compliant state-of-the-art radioconjugate manufacturing facility to meet the demand for our growing pipeline of RCs.
We are seeking students pursuing studies within the fields of Science, Technology and Engineering for a full-time, 4-month internship from January to April 2027.
The intern will be fully involved in the Process Engineering department of the Fusion Pharmaceuticals division. They will contribute to engineering and technical projects that support crafting and growing radioconjugates used to treat cancer.
As an Intern at Fusion Pharmaceuticals, you will have the opportunity to learn about the use of radioactive materials in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, and the implementation of complex technologies to safely harness these materials. Our purpose for this position is to ensure you gain key foundational knowledge that will complement your education through interesting work while leveraging valuable networking opportunities to expand your learning. This role is a 4-month paid contract position, which starts in January 2027. This position will be based in our Hamilton Fusion site and will be a fully on-site position.
As part of this work, you will be qualified as a Nuclear Energy Worker to enable work within our Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission-licensed nuclear facilities.

Annual base salary for this position ranges from 42,908.00 to 56,316.75.
