Job summary

Septodont in Cambridge, Ontario, is hiring a Process Engineer II/Process Specialist II to lead engineering projects, support manufacturing, and drive process improvements within a highly regulated environment.

The role requires a strong engineering background, 5+ years in manufacturing, and Lean manufacturing experience. P.Eng. is preferred; AutoCAD and MS Office skills are essential for daily activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably pharmaceutical or other regulated industries.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing is an asset.
• P.Eng. designation preferred.
• Ability to read architectural, mechanical, electrical, and P&ID drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering projects from specification through implementation and turnover.
• Provide ongoing technical support to manufacturing and process operations.
• Identify and implement process and equipment improvements to reduce downtime and waste.
• Support equipment qualification, requalification, and validation activities.
• Support new product introductions and relevant R&D initiatives.
• Review and approve protocols and validation documents.
• Mentor engineers, specialists, and technicians.
