Job description

Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented House Manager. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. The successful applicant will have fluent verbal and written communication in English and possess a valid driver's license in Ontario. Please note that this is not a live-in position.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a clean and organized home environment by dusting, vacuuming, sweeping/mopping floors, and polishing surfaces.
2. Drive for the purpose of errands and childcare pick ups and drop offs.
3. Clean all rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living room, and dining room. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including cleaning appliances, countertops, and dishes.
4. Maintain clean patio, cabana and garage areas which include sweeping of areas and watering of plants as needed.
5. Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothes.
6. Manage household supplies, including ordering and stocking cleaning products and other necessities.
7. Empty trash and recycling bins regularly.
8. Prepare and cook meals and snacks as required. Knowledge and understanding of food safety and food allergies is critical due to nut allergy in the household.
9. Assist with preparations for special events hosted at the house.
10. Assist with errands and other household tasks as needed.

Expectations for Experience and Qualifications for role:

1. Ability to work independently.
2. Proof of Eligibility to Work in Canada Required.
3. High school diploma or equivalent.
4. Valid G Class Driver's license in Ontario, with a preference for owning a personal vehicle for use at work.
5. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Housekeeper or in a related role.
6. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
7. Demonstrable organizational and time management skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Strong verbal and written English communication.

Compensation

• Hourly wage range of $25 - $27 per hour on a 40-44 hour work week.
• Optional Medical / Dental Benefits plan upon completion of 3 months probation.
