Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a registered dietitian who is driven to build a career in private practice. We welcome dietitians who specialize in or have a strong interest in :

• Digestive health (IBS, IBD, food intolerances, gut microbiome health)
• Chronic disease management (diabetes, heart health, obesity)
• Sports nutrition and performance
• Disordered eating, intuitive eating, and mindful eating approaches
• Autoimmune conditions and anti-inflammatory nutrition
• Pediatric and adolescent nutrition

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and group nutrition coaching , tailoring guidance to clients' unique needs.
• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments , develop personalized plans, and provide ongoing support.
• Innovate and implement new ways to engage clients through digital tools, courses, and ensuring an excellent customer experience.
• Manage a client caseload while maintaining high professional and ethical standards.
• Stay updated on the latest nutrition research and integrate best practices into client care.
• Create educational and marketing content (blogs, social media, webinars, videos) to engage and inform clients, showcasing expertise and building brand presence.
• Contribute to corporate wellness programs, workshops, and speaking engagements .
• Collaborate with team members, including dietitians, chefs, and marketing professionals .
• Work in a hybrid model , offering services remotely or in-person at our Edmonton office.

• Proficient with digital applications such as Practice Better, Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), and Microsoft tools for efficient client management and collaboration.
• Willingness to work some evenings and weekends to accommodate client needs.
• Comfort with sales and the ability to articulate the value of nutrition services.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nutrition or equivalent.
• Completion of a Canadian-accredited dietetic internship / practicum program .
• Successful completion of the Canadian Dietetic Registration Examination .
• Current registration and good standing with a provincial dietetic regulatory body (e.g., College of Dietitians of Alberta).
• Experience in private practice or a drive to build a career in private practice.
• Additional certifications in specialized areas (e.g., Certified Diabetes Educator, Monash University Low FODMAP certification, CEDRD, IOC Diploma in Sports Nutrition) are an asset.

Job Type and Pay Structure

• Permanent position that includes guaranteed paid hours plus additional pay for client-facing sessions, clinical projects, and corporate wellness work. Potential for full-time hours based on caseload and program involvement.
• Compensation : $39.39–$52.22 per hour.
• Group benefits (eligibility-based) and paid annual leave allowance .
• Work Location : Hybrid (remote and in-person in Edmonton, AB).
