Job summary

CPP Investments in Canada seeks a Senior Analyst, Private Funds Operations to support transactional and accounting activities for private equity investments, ensuring accurate processing, settlement and recording throughout the investment lifecycle.

You will collaborate with Core Services, Investment Departments and Tax to resolve issues, contribute to valuations, and help optimize controls, workflows and reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, financial and management accounting skills.
• Degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting or related field.
• Professional designation such as CPA, CFA or CBV is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Review trade documentation, entries and materials for accuracy and consistency with GP data.
• Support new investment closings by documenting, authorizing and coordinating funding.
• Process daily, monthly and quarterly accounting activities, reconciliations and reporting.
• Collaborate with Investment Departments, Tax, Treasury to resolve operational issues affecting closings.
• Prepare and review quarterly valuations and portfolio information; ensure proper adjustments.
• Identify process gaps and risks; propose improvements to controls and workflows.
• Provide guidance to Analysts while supporting a high‑performing team.
